Najah Innovation Park, in partnership with INJAZ Palestine, has launched the preparatory phase of the 2026 Student Company Program, one of INJAZ Palestine’s flagship programs at both the national and regional levels, implemented annually in cooperation with higher education institutions across Palestine.
The preparatory phase included the organization of an Innovation Camp held at Najah Innovation Park, where participating students received specialized training in project management skills, entrepreneurial idea generation, and the design of innovative business models that address real societal challenges and development needs across various sectors. The training sessions were delivered by Engineer Hanaa Hamdan, along with a team of volunteers from INJAZ Palestine.
The preparatory activities saw the participation of more than 150 male and female students from various academic disciplines at the university. Students were divided into teams, each of which presented an innovative startup concept aimed at offering a specific service to the Palestinian community. The teams showcased their ideas through presentations involving all team members.
During the event, Professor Abdulnasser Zaid, President of An-Najah National University, visited the participating students and commended their entrepreneurial creativity. He emphasized the importance of leveraging the university’s supportive environment—particularly Najah Innovation Park—to transform innovative ideas into viable business models through participation in national programs such as the Student Company Program in partnership with INJAZ Palestine. He also praised INJAZ Palestine for its role in promoting entrepreneurship culture and preparing university students.
Following the conclusion of the Innovation Camp, personal interviews were conducted over a three-day period, resulting in the selection of the Najah Student Company team, which will represent the university in the national-level competitions scheduled for next summer.
It is worth noting that An-Najah National University’s team was crowned Best Student Company and Best Innovative Idea in the previous season at the national level, and achieved second place regionally among Arab countries.
