
An-Najah Innovation Park and Cystack, a leading cybersecurity company, discussed prospects for strengthening their partnership and expanding areas of mutual cooperation during a consultative meeting held at the Park’s headquarters.
The meeting was attended by the Director of An-Najah Innovation Park, Prof. Saed Al-Khayyat, and the General Manager of Cystack, Eng. Rabee Barakat. Discussions focused on renewing the existing partnership agreement and broadening collaboration to include the expansion and development of joint training programs, implemented in cooperation with the Future Skills and Lifelong Learning Academy.
The two sides also agreed to organize a series of specialized workshops at the Faculty of Information Technology and Artificial Intelligence, covering a range of cybersecurity topics aimed at enhancing students’ practical skills and strengthening their connection to labor market needs.
In addition, the meeting addressed the development of a professional diploma program in cybersecurity, as part of An-Najah National University’s broader plan to introduce a number of specialized professional diplomas aligned with local and regional market demands.
As part of ongoing efforts to support students and build their practical competencies, Cystack reaffirmed its commitment to continuing the reception of internship students from relevant disciplines, both from An-Najah National University and international students participating in exchange programs organized by the International Association for the Exchange of Students for Technical Experience (IAESTE). An-Najah National University oversees IAESTE activities in Palestine, represented by Dr. Mohammad Abu Abiya.
Cystack also emphasized its support for cybersecurity students through the provision of partial financial scholarships under the Cystack Cyber Security Scholarship Program. At this stage, two scholarships will be offered, with beneficiaries selected according to specific criteria and mechanisms to be announced by the University’s Financial Department.
The meeting concluded with an agreement to renew the partnership agreement to encompass all approved items, with both parties underscoring the importance of sustaining and further developing their collaboration in a manner that serves students and contributes to the advancement of the community, as well as the technology and cybersecurity sectors.
