An-Najah Innovation Park – An-Najah National University hosted the first session of the Venture Café Initiative in collaboration with Ibtikar Fund, with the attendance of academic staff and students from the University. This comes as part of the Park’s efforts to support entrepreneurship and encourage innovation in Palestine.
The session covered important topics, including:
- Exploring the startup ecosystem and the role of universities in transforming scientific research into entrepreneurship.
- Learning about technology commercialization pathways and how to convert ideas and innovations into practical projects.
- Sharing practical stories and experiences from Ibtikar Fund and support for entrepreneurial companies.
- Opportunities for networking and building relationships with inspiring ideas and entrepreneurs.
The session hosted Ms. Reem Qawasmi from Ibtikar Fund, who has over 19 years of experience in supporting and developing entrepreneurial companies and investing in innovation. This provided participants with an opportunity to learn about best practices and expertise in the field of entrepreneurship.
These events aim to expand knowledge, encourage creativity, and enhance collaboration between university students and entrepreneurs, within the framework of An-Najah Innovation Park’s vision to support the entrepreneurship ecosystem in Palestine.
