An-Najah Training Academy organizes an interactive meeting for human resources managers, "HR Talk".

An-Najah Training Academy, affiliated with An-Najah Innovation Park at An-Najah National University, organized an interactive meeting with human resources managers, "HR Talk," on Monday, May 5, 2025. The event was held under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Abdel Nasser Zaid, the University President, with the aim of developing the capabilities and skills of students and graduates to join the local and international labor market.

The meeting was held in the auditorium of the Faculty of Law and Political Science on the new campus, in cooperation with the Palestinian Employment Fund and the Palestinian Federation of Industries and Agricultural Chambers. It was attended by a group of heads of departments and directors of human resources departments in a number of local and international companies and institutions, in addition to a large gathering of graduating students and recent graduates from various faculties of the university.

During the workshop sessions, the speakers presented a set of criteria and standards adopted by their human resources departments in accepting job applicants in various business sectors, especially with the significant boom the world is witnessing in the field of information technology and artificial intelligence.

The sessions revolved around how to build a CV and a personal profile for graduates, in addition to the most important skills they should possess, the importance of personal interviews and how to prepare for them, as well as reviewing the gaps between the visions of human resources and job applicants, especially new graduates.

Dr. Abdel Salam Al-Khayyat, Vice President for Academic Affairs, emphasized the pivotal role played by the university in building theoretical and practical knowledge, refining students' skills, and enhancing the capabilities of graduates and qualifying them to enter the labor market and raise their level of competitiveness for jobs locally and internationally.

For his part, Prof. Dr. Allam Mousa, Director of An-Najah Innovation Park, explained that the university's vision and objectives in keeping pace with various developments in all scientific and practical fields were the main motivation behind the University's Board of Trustees' decision to establish An-Najah Innovation Park, to be a space for creativity, enhance the spirit of innovation, and develop the skills of all components of the business sectors community in Palestine, thereby enhancing their capabilities and raising their competencies.

During the interactive meeting, one of the university's graduate students received the opportunity to conduct her final job interview at Jawwal company, after successfully passing the first and second interviews with the company previously, and she deservedly secured the job.

At the conclusion of the workshop, Dr. Muhammad Sabah, Director of An-Najah Academy for Training, expressed his sincere thanks to all the guests for accepting the invitation to participate in this event, and to the attending students and graduates for their participation and enriching the sessions with discussions with the speakers. He also affirmed the academy's and the park's readiness to continuously work on building programs and events that aim to advance students and graduates at all levels.
