TECGREMED

Project Purpose

The TECGREMED project aims to enhance green engineering skills among youth in Jordan, Palestine, and Iraq—including refugees and internally displaced persons—by developing an innovative VET (Vocational Education and Training) program aligned with EU standards and tailored to the needs of the local and regional labor markets.

Detailed Objectives

– Develop a comprehensive training program in green engineering.

– Align the program with EU frameworks including the Bologna Process and ECTS.

– Build the capacity of academic and vocational training staff.

– Improve youth employability through practical training and market-driven skills.

– Establish specialized teaching laboratories in partner universities.

– Strengthen innovation, entrepreneurship, and cooperation with industry.

 

Key Outputs

– A complete VET training program in green engineering.

– A Needs Analysis Report identifying skills gaps and market requirements.

– Newly developed curricula and training materials aligned with EU quality standards.

– Capacity-building for more than 100 academic and vocational instructors.

– Fully equipped green engineering laboratories in partner universities.

– Training sessions and workshops for youth, including refugees and vulnerable groups.

– Strengthened partnerships with the private sector to support training and employment.

– A sustainability and dissemination strategy ensuring long-term impact.
